Everyone told me that if I was going to do buffalo wings in Buffalo - I had to go to Duff's! So, I went to Duff's! And - I get it. The wings are good. I love that I can order them extra crispy.
I've eaten at all of the duff's locations locally. I have to say that this one is my favorite of all. The Ambience is great. They have a great bar to have a beverage while you're waiting for your food. I do have to say:The first time i was here I didn't look at the menu, because I knew exactly what I wanted. (Wings) I mean who stops at duffs and doesn't get wings? I like hot wings, but if you order them hot, expect suicidal sauce. So if you like spicy then order the medium, they will still be nice and spicy hot.
Great location near BUF, easy access to parking and restaurant entrance. We stopped in at the recommendation from some local friends, and weren't disappointed! I'm not a wing person but my husband and son are. The menu had plenty of variety for wing lovers and non-wing lovers, like me. Our table started with chips and queso, then ordered the wing, fry and pitcher of soda deal with original tenders and the Louisiana dry rub. As a non-wing eater, I tried both and appreciated the flavor and crispness of the wings themselves. My husband and son devoured them. Fries were nice and crispy, perfect with ketchup. I ordered the fried bologna sandwich. It was odd to see it on the menu as I've only had it in the south where I grew up. It was nice and thick, and served with chips. Service was great, friendly and fast. The atmosphere was a typical sports bar. Music and sports playing on tv's with booth, table and bar seating available. Will come back next time we're in Buffalo!
To start I ordered a draft beer. The waitress showed up with 2!!!! It was happy hour, 2 for 1, how can you loose with such a start. The 3 of us shared 30 wings, 15 medium (hot according to Duffs waitress t shirts) and 15 hot BBQ. Excellent choice, both were very juicy (and sloppy). Duffs always scores high in the "best wings" polls and they proved that again.
When in Buffalo....the wings are what you expect from the birthplace. Solid, crispy, great flavor and the blue cheese is the creamiest and best. Didn't let me down. Great sports bar atmosphere and vibe.
We came on a Saturday evening and it was packed. We had to wait about 30 min to seat our group of 6. The staff was very friendly. We ordered 40 wings (bbq and medium flavors) with fries. Delicious Buffalo staple.
